Job Description

A Home Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of residential properties by performing a wide range of cleaning and housekeeping tasks. Their primary goal is to create a clean, organized, and healthy living environment that enhances the comfort and well-being of homeowners and their families. Home cleaners work with professionalism, attention to detail, and respect for clients’ privacy and personal belongings.

Home cleaners perform routine cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing surfaces, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, washing windows, and disposing of household waste. They also organize living spaces, make beds, change linens, and ensure that every room is cleaned to a high standard. Depending on the client’s needs, they may also assist with laundry, ironing, and other light housekeeping responsibilities.

In addition to cleaning, home cleaners are responsible for using cleaning products and equipment safely, following hygiene and safety standards, and reporting any maintenance issues or damaged items they notice during their work. They strive to provide reliable, efficient, and high-quality service while respecting the client’s home, schedule, and preferences.

Key Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all areas of the home.
• Clean and sanitize kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living spaces.
• Wash windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Make beds, change bed linens, and organize rooms.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.
• Perform laundry, ironing, and light housekeeping duties when required.
• Use cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene according to health and safety standards.
• Report maintenance issues or damaged items to homeowners.
