Job Description

A Barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, tea, and other specialty beverages while providing exceptional customer service. They create a welcoming atmosphere by greeting customers, taking orders accurately, and ensuring every drink is prepared according to the café’s quality standards. A skilled barista combines technical expertise with creativity to deliver consistently delicious beverages and a memorable customer experience.

Baristas are knowledgeable about different coffee beans, brewing techniques, espresso-based drinks, and beverage customization. They help customers choose drinks based on their preferences, explain menu items, and recommend seasonal or signature beverages. In addition to beverage preparation, baristas maintain cleanliness and organization at the coffee station, monitor ingredient inventory, and ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.

They also process customer payments, restock supplies, and work closely with other team members to ensure efficient service during busy hours. By maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and hospitality, baristas contribute significantly to customer satisfaction and the overall success of the café.
